As you browse my website, you’ll get a sense of who I am and how I might be able to assist you. Here is a little more information about me. Feel free to call me to explore whether we could work well together
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with over 30 years of experience effectively working with individuals, organizations and groups during times of change and transition.
My professional training includes master’s degrees in both Professional Counseling and Organizational Behavior and post-graduate training in grief/bereavement and working with survivors of neglect, abuse and trauma. I am Certified in Thanatology: Death, Dying and Bereavement (CT), through the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC).
I have worked in diverse settings, including the business sector, a university counseling center, community mental health, a bereavement program, and private practice. I have been affiliated with Buddy’s Place, a family-based bereavement program, for many years as a volunteer group facilitator and previously as co-director. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I had extensive experience working in the business world, in the areas of human resource management and organizational development. I understand firsthand the demands and pressures of the corporate environment and both the challenges and fulfillment of career transitions.
My style is warm, authentic and compassionate, creating a foundation of safety and support for our work together. My approach is holistic, integrating the emotional, psychological, physical and spiritual aspects of what it means to be human. I bring to my work an unwavering faith in the human spirit and the process of healing and transformation. It is my heartfelt honor and privilege to do this work.
